Sextet (2011)
Instrumentation: flute, clarinet, bassoon, violin, viola, cello
Sextet was written during my studies at the Iceland Academy of the Arts and consists of two short movements for a woodwind/string sextet. The first movement begins with a slow choral-introduction, followed by a lively and rhythmic dance. The second movement has a more serious character and is written in a polyphonic style.
